Featuring Aqui Gaini, lighting design by Arhat Teatro, technical assistance by Emilio Riva, costumes and assistant direction by Velda Noli; directed by Pierluigi Castelli. The show presents an intense narrative about the figure of Eleonora d’Arborea, one of the main characters in Sardinian history and a prominent woman in medieval Italy. In the second half of the 14th century, she became the Judge of Arborea and aimed to unite the entire island, freeing it from vassalage to the Aragonese crown. Sardinia also owes her a legislative document, the Carta de Logu, remarkably advanced for its time, which remained in effect until 1827.
