The dancers of MD Academy, like ancestral priestesses, will celebrate with their dances the light, the rebirth, the vital energy, invoking the Sun so that it may perform its eternal movement, so that from the darkness that follows sunset life may rise again, and light may once more warm the earth and illuminate the minds of men.
MD Academy is a Dance Academy founded and directed by Katia Mancini, a professional dancer who graduated with top honors in the Cecchetti Method from the Hamlyn School in Florence.
Katia Mancini has brought her creations to theaters around the world, including Russia, Mexico, and the Uffizi Gallery.
